Arrange a tall story canvas

The 9:16 canvas gives the composition a vertical reading direction. Keep essential subjects away from the top and bottom where platform controls or captions may overlap the image.

Place an establishing photo above two details, then check the exported image inside the destination app before posting.

How to use this template

Build the story from top to bottom

A tall canvas creates a natural reading direction. Let the upper image establish the scene and the lower images add details, keeping important content away from areas that app controls can cover.

Preview the saved image in the Story composer. Add music, stickers or text in the destination app when needed. The template exports PNG, JPEG or WebP, not a video or animated Story.

Review the download before sharing

Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.

Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
