Lead with a wide top photograph

The upper photograph spans the canvas width, above two equal lower panels. Choose a source with enough width for the top crop and check the lower images individually.

Place a venue overview above two event details for a compact visual story.

This layout is built for 3 photos. It works best for portrait stories, weddings, stories, where the viewer needs to understand the relationship between the images quickly.

How to use this layout

  1. Add JPG, PNG or WebP photographs to the editor above. The layout are already selected.
  2. Arrange your photographs in the desired order, then adjust each crop and focal position.
  3. Check the canvas ratio, spacing and background. Adding more photos than a fixed layout holds changes it to an adaptive grid.
  4. Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, review the export dimensions, and download your collage.

Choose the photograph for the top band

The top photograph needs a source that tolerates a wide crop. A venue, room or landscape can establish context, while the two lower photographs show people or details. A tightly framed portrait may lose too much in the wide band.

Change the photo order before fine-tuning the focal points. The lower cells should support the same subject rather than start unrelated stories. Inspect those details at the intended export size.

Try a styled template

A template combines a layout with an aspect ratio, background and spacing. Compare these options when you want a styled starting point.

Read the photo collage guide for crop and export advice.

Review the download before sharing

Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.

Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
