Keep the subject clear at thumbnail size

The 16:9 canvas starts with a larger right-hand focal area. Choose one expressive face or recognizable object for that area and keep supporting photographs visually simple.

Compare the export at full size and as a small thumbnail; remove detail images that become indistinct when reduced.

This template is built for 3 to 6 photos. It works best for youtube, video covers, presentations, where the viewer needs to understand the relationship between the images quickly.

How to use this template

  1. Add JPG, PNG or WebP photographs to the editor above. The template settings are already selected.
  2. Arrange your photographs in the desired order, then adjust each crop and focal position.
  3. Check the canvas ratio, spacing and background. Adding more photos than a fixed layout holds changes it to an adaptive grid.
  4. Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, review the export dimensions, and download your collage.

Check the thumbnail at a small size

Use a recognizable subject in the large area and a simple supporting image that explains the video's topic. Reduce the preview to thumbnail size before deciding whether another detail genuinely helps.

The 16:9 template creates a still image. It does not provide a channel-banner safe area or add headline text. The Print export is 3600 by 2025 pixels; compare that with YouTube's current recommended dimensions and upload limits.

Compare related layouts

A layout changes the arrangement. Use these alternatives when you want different emphasis or a different number of panels.

Read the photo collage guide for crop and export advice.

Review the download before sharing

Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.

Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
