Build a patchwork with eight photographs
The base quilt pattern contains eight tiles of different sizes. Give the larger tiles to photographs with multiple subjects and reserve smaller tiles for close-up details.
Use eight family moments for the complete pattern; larger collections adapt to a grid.
This layout is built for 6 to 12 photos. It works best for family, events, creative boards, where the viewer needs to understand the relationship between the images quickly.

How to use this layout
- Add JPG, PNG or WebP photographs to the editor above. The layout are already selected.
- Arrange your photographs in the desired order, then adjust each crop and focal position.
- Check the canvas ratio, spacing and background. Adding more photos than a fixed layout holds changes it to an adaptive grid.
- Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, review the export dimensions, and download your collage.
Balance an eight-picture patchwork
Choose the two or three photographs that need the most room before filling the smaller areas. A group portrait needs more space than a detail of an object. Use the smaller tiles to connect the main moments.
The base quilt uses eight tiles. More photographs can switch the result to an adaptive grid. Inspect the smallest tile in the actual download, especially when preparing a family print or memory board.
Try a styled template
A template combines a layout with an aspect ratio, background and spacing. Compare these options when you want a styled starting point.
Read the photo collage guide for crop and export advice.
Review the download before sharing
Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.
Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
