Build an asymmetrical feature

Magazine uses a feature area with supporting tiles. Choose one clear lead and quieter details so the geometry establishes a hierarchy instead of making all panels compete.

Create a lookbook spread from a main outfit photograph, an accessory and supporting material details.

This layout is built for 5 to 10 photos. It works best for portfolios, graduation, brand stories, where the viewer needs to understand the relationship between the images quickly.

How to use this layout

  1. Add JPG, PNG or WebP photographs to the editor above. The layout are already selected.
  2. Arrange your photographs in the desired order, then adjust each crop and focal position.
  3. Check the canvas ratio, spacing and background. Adding more photos than a fixed layout holds changes it to an adaptive grid.
  4. Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, review the export dimensions, and download your collage.

Give the composition an editorial hierarchy

Choose a feature image that communicates the subject without explanation. Supporting photographs can show context or material details. Several equally complex scenes make an asymmetrical arrangement harder to follow.

Magazine describes the photo geometry, not a page-layout editor. Headlines and captions are not included. Use a separate design application when the final spread needs typography or publication-specific margins.

Try a styled template

A template combines a layout with an aspect ratio, background and spacing. Compare these options when you want a styled starting point.

Read the photo collage guide for crop and export advice.

Review the download before sharing

Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.

Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
