Balance rows and columns
The classic grid adapts its rows and columns to the photo count and canvas shape. Changing the aspect ratio can therefore change the arrangement even when the photographs stay the same.
Use similarly framed images for a collection where every item should have equal emphasis.
This layout is built for 4 to 20 photos. It works best for albums, collections, school projects, where the viewer needs to understand the relationship between the images quickly.

How to use this layout
- Add JPG, PNG or WebP photographs to the editor above. The layout are already selected.
- Arrange your photographs in the desired order, then adjust each crop and focal position.
- Check the canvas ratio, spacing and background. Adding more photos than a fixed layout holds changes it to an adaptive grid.
- Choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, review the export dimensions, and download your collage.
Build a grid with a clear reading order
Use chronological rows for an event recap or group related products together. The adaptive grid responds to the photo count and canvas proportions, so a change in ratio can alter the number of rows.
Choose a fixed four-, six- or nine-photo grid when that exact structure matters. Review subject scale across the row and keep the background consistent. A grid exports as one picture, not as separate social profile tiles.
Try a styled template
A template combines a layout with an aspect ratio, background and spacing. Compare these options when you want a styled starting point.
Read the photo collage guide for crop and export advice.
Review the download before sharing
Open the downloaded image at the size it will be viewed. Check the smallest panel, the edges of faces and the space around the main subject. Export size cannot restore detail lost in a small source photograph or a heavy crop.
Standard, High and Print use 1600, 2400 and 3600 pixels on the longest edge. Save the result before closing the tab. The download is a flattened image, and the preset URL does not save your photos or editing history.
